Rocky Hill is a 50 hectare white box gum community located in Kooringal, close to central Wagga.
Our South Wagga Rotary led Community based Rocky Hill Regeneration volunteers are working to make it a better environment for: native plants, animals and people who use it for recreation.

Would you like to volunteer on site?
There are many options for volunteering on site!
Some of these might involve developing a new skill including:
- Propagating and nurturing developing native plants.
- Mapping native plants.
- Documenting plant progress and biodiversity visually.
- Documenting bird biodiversity visually.
- Documenting fauna biodiversity visually.
- Removing woody weeds – learn a new skill whipper-snipping or sawing with a reciprocating saw,
or using those already acquired, including:
- Planting, mulching, watering and maintaining native plants.
- Removing woody weeds – learn a new skill or use an already acquired one to decrease weeds by whipper-snipping, hand weeding, sawing.
